Weekly Commentary: ![]() The selling continued to ripple through the markets as economic conditions continue to give investors pause for concern. Rising inflation fears, higher gas prices, and a weaker than expected jobs report sent the markets lower for the fourth straight week. The Institute of Supply Management, the organization most watched by the Federal Reserve Bank inflation hawks, reported a sharp rise in consumer prices, leading some experts to worry about the possibility of higher inflation down the road. Oil prices, and its counterpart gas prices, continued to reach higher and higher causing many to wonder when these high fuel prices will begin to effect the almighty consumer.
